A.Wedding photography in New York State ranges from anything between $1,500 to over $5,000. Of course the cost will depend on how much coverage your require, be it all day or just the ceremony. Other things that will effect this will be what you also require, do you want a beautifully prepared and album created for you, do you want a second shooter, will they need to travel far to you venue, when is your wedding. If you wedding is off season which is in the winter months then you will be more likely to get a better price compared to a Saturday in the summer.

Of course what it comes down to is who you feel comfortable and who's work matches your style, wedding photographer prices will vary depending on experience although that does not mean that someone with years of experience will be the most expensive.

In the wedding world, just like everything else, prices are increasing each year due to cost of goods and other variables.

My best suggestion is don't wait until the last minute to hire your wedding photographer. Lock in a price early because chances are, the prices are going to increase each year.
